Jhaal Muri/ Bhel/ Spicy Puffed Rice/ Bengali Jhaalmuri Recipe


INGREDIENTS:

  • Puffed rice/Murmura/Muri-50 gm
  • Chanachur/namkeen/bhujiya-50 gm
  • Roasted red skin peanuts-25 gm
  • Soaked and boiled bengal gram-25 gm
  • Boiled potato-1
  • Chopped onion-1
  • Chopped tomato-1
  • Chopped green chilli-2
  • Finely chopped coconut-25 gm
  • Roasted masala powder-2 tsp
  • Tamarind juice-1 tbsp
  • Lemon juice-1 tbsp
  • Mustard oil-2 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Chopped coriander leaves

METHOD:

  • In a big bowl: add all ingredients together except puffed rice.
  • Add puffed rice and mixed properly in the mixture.
  • Decorate it with bhujiya and sliced coconut and serve immediately.
